Everton have reportedly submitted a €40million verbal offer to Paris Saint-Germain for 21-year-old striker Hugo Ekitike, with the forward also being of interest to West Ham.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitike is drawing plenty of interest from the Premier League with West Ham and Everton reportedly interested, however it is the latter who have submitted an offer in an attempt to secure his services.

The Toffees have lodged a €40million verbal offer for the striker, French publication Sports Zone are reporting.

According to their report, Everton’s opening offer is worth €35m plus €5m in bonuses as they look to bolster their options in attack.

Ekitike initially joined the Parisiens on loan from Stade de Reims, but has since made the move permanent for a fee worth around €30million.

Sports Zone‘s report claims that PSG are happy to part ways with the forward, but they are looking to include him in a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani.

The Bundesliga club are said to be prioritising a move for Elye Wahi though, who is also drawing interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton’s interest in Ekitike comes amid uncertainty over the future of Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Although he is expected by many to remain on Merseyside, Calvert-Lewin has drawn interest from Serie A side Roma.

Ekitike would become the Toffees’ third signing of the window, having already secured the signatures of Arnaut Danjuma on loan, and Ashley Young permanently.
