According to UK betting sites, Everton are among the host of Premier League sides that are keen on signing Manchester United ace, Scott McTominay.

The 2022-23 campaign saw excitement and success return to the red side of Manchester after years of concern, as the Red Devils won silverware for the first time in seven years.

Manager, Erik ten Hag, managed to secure the Carabao Cup in his first season in the Premier League and also guided his side to third place in the Premier League.

Securing Champions League football was vital for the club’s ambition in the coming transfer window, as a host of Europe’s elite players have been linked with a move to Manchester.

On the other hand, one player that has been rumoured to leave the club is Scottish midfielder, Scott McTominay, who has attracted interest from Newcastle, West Ham and now, Everton.

The 26-year-old has been a consistent member in the United squad over recent seasons, contributing to 24 goals in 209 appearances.

However, since Erik ten Hag’s appointment, McTominay has struggled to cement a place in the Dutchman’s starting eleven and his last 90 minutes came in April – due to a Casemiro suspension.

Rumours over a possible move away from Old Trafford have started to circulate and Everton are reportedly keen on the midfielder despite a poor campaign.

Frank Lampard held the reigns at Goodison Park for the opening weeks of the 2022-23 campaign, but his tenure was short-lived as he parted ways with the Toffees in January.

Winning just once in 11 matches, the former Chelsea manager was in  a relegation battle and Sean Dyche was appointed to keep the club in England’s top-flight.

On the final day of the campaign, Dyche’s side narrowly defeated Bournemouth, securing their survival and giving them a huge boost this summer.

Any deal to land the United midfielder could cost up to £35m, as McTominay still has two-years remaining on his current deal.
