Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is the strong favourite to win the PFA Player Of The Year, as Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard’s odds drift following Arsenal’s recent form.

The Norwegian has took the Premier League by storm, scoring 31 goals in 31 matches so far. He is now one goal away from equaling Mohamed Salah’s record of 32.

Haaland’s desire to score goals has helped his side close the gap on league-leaders Arsenal, with the Citizens now four points behind with a game in hand. The two sides are set to clash on April 25th, in what could be the ultimate decider.

However, the Manchester City talisman is not alone in the battle to become PFA POTY. with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard also in contention.

Arsenal’s captain has been superb in the heart of the Gunners’ midfield and has even contributed to 11 goals, seven assists and is finally fulfilling the potential he showed at Real Madrid.

Bukayo Saka has pushed the Norway international for the player of the year award at Arsenal, being the first player to contribute 10+ goals and assists.

Is Haaland Going To Win The PFA POTY Award?

Should Manchester City claim their third consecutive Premier League title then you would have to expect their record-breaking striker to win the award. He is on track to score the most goals in a single season and has shown no signs of slowing down.

However, the Gunners are still battling their manager’s former side and Mikel Arteta will be desperate to get one over his former side.

Winning the  title for the first time in over two decades would surely be enough to bring the POTY award to the Emirates. Saka’s goal-scoring form has started to dwindle, which could give his captain the edge come the end of the season.
