Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow have seen their £12.9million bid for Davinson Sanchez accepted by Tottenham, however the defender remains ‘reluctant’ to join.

Having long been linked with a move away from north London, a £12.9million bid for Davinson Sanchez has been accepted by Tottenham Hotspur.

The bid came in from Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow, and despite being heavily linked with an exit, Sanchez remains ‘reluctant’ on the move.

New boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed that Sanchez was one of several Spurs players to be considering their futures, with Harry Kane also tipped to depart for Bayern Munich.

“It’s fair to say that there are a number of players with us, including Davinson [Sanchez], who are exploring options about their future. I’m waiting for any uncertainty before I deal with that at the moment.” Postecoglou stated in a press conference.

“At the moment in terms of ins and outs, there are no certainties hitting my desk.”

Sanchez has entered the final year of his Tottenham contract, and is almost certainly set to make way for a new defensive arrival at the club.

Postecoglou himself has outlined his side’s intentions of securing another central defender, having been linked to several throughout the window.

Micky van de Ven of Wolfsburg and Edmond Tapsoba of Bayer Leverkusen are the names that have been most heavily linked to Spurs, whilst Max Kilman, Tosin Adarabioyo and Harry Maguire have also been linked with moves.
