Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Southampton striker, Che Adams, as the Scotsman looks to return to the Premier League.

The Scottish international has attracted interest from a host of English sides, after Southampton were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Former Luton manager, Nathan Jones, was sacked after a matter of months following a poor run of results and Ruben Selles was unable to keep the Saints up.

With Championship football returning to St Mary’s for the first time in 11 seasons, many expect the 27-year-old to push for a move back to England’s top-flight.

Adams has made 145 appearances for the Saints since signing from Birmingham and is said to be available for around £20m.

These performances have caught the eye, as both Fulham and Crystal Palace are keen to land the striker this summer – with Palace being the most likely suitors.

The Eagles will be eager to sign a new attacking option, as star man, Wilfried Zaha, is expected to leave the club this summer.

The Crystal Palace star has become a club legend over recent seasons, scoring 90 goals in 450 appearances and has been pivotal in keeping the club in the Premier League.

However, the 2022-23 campaign was a difficult time for the Ivory Coast international, as missed large parts of the season through injury.

Despite these injury concerns, the 30-year-old still managed to record 10 goal contributions in 28 matches, across all competitions, and has reportedly attracted interest from a variety of sides.

Meaning a need for a replacement is huge for the side from east London and a deal with Che Adams could be a simple process, as the Scotsman has one-year remaining on his current contract.
