Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly ready to leave Al-Nassr after only six months in Saudi Arabia and the 38-year-old has been linked with a move back to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo parted ways with Manchester United in December last year, after the Portugal international’s public fall-out with Erik ten Hag.

In the infamous interview with Piers Morgan, the former United star labelled the Dutch manager as ‘disrespectful’ and questioned his decisions at the club.

After cutting ties with the Red Devils, the five time Ballon d’Or winner signed for Saudi Arabian side, Al-Nassr, making him the highest paid footballer of all-time.

Since signing in January, the 38-year-old has made 12 league appearances and scored 12 goals, as well as contributing with two assists.

However, according to reports, Ronaldo is ready to leave Saudi Arabia and could be tempted with a move back to La Liga giants – Real Madrid.

From 2009-2018, the Portuguese international dominated world football alongside Lionel Messi in Spain, scoring 450 goals in 438 appearances.

During this period he won, four Champions League trophies, two La Liga titles and two Copa del Rays, in what is regarded as Ronaldo’s best era.

Los Blancos are having a strange season under Carlo Ancelotti, as they sit 2nd in the table and are 14 points behind their fierce rivals, Barcelona.

However, the Spanish giants have found a saving grace with their performances in the Champions League, as they prepare for a semi-final clash against Manchester City.

Should Ancelotti’s side win Europe’s most prestigious competition, then the club would make it 15 UCL title’s, extending their lead as the continent’s leading club.

Ronaldo may be coming to the end of his career, but a move back to Spain could be the final swansong in a miraculous tenure as Europe’s best player.
