Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first competitive goal from the penalty-spot which earned his new side a 2-2 draw against Al Fateh.

It was Ronaldo’s fellow striker, Anderson Talisca, that pulled one back for Al-Nassr after Cristian Tello and Sofiane Bendebka put the hosts two goals to the good. In typical Ronaldo style, he secured his side a point after smashing the ball into the back of the net from 12-yards out.

The former Premier League star joined the Saudi Arabian side after a very public fall out with Manchester United and in particular, Erik ten Hag. After an interview with Piers Morgan, the club had no choice but to terminate Ronaldo’s contract and after being linked to many clubs, the forward signed for Al-Nassr.

The 5-time Champions League winner fell-out with the manager and the interview made his thoughts on the Dutchman very clear.

Ronaldo said: “”I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me.”

Ronaldo’s contract is believed to be one of the most lucrative sporting contracts of all-time and may be a sign of the 37-year-old slowing down for the first time in over 20 years. However, the five-time Ballon d’or winner showed no signs of slowing down in today’s fixture, scoring the last-minute leveller for his new side.
