Despite nearing 38, Cristiano Ronaldo has shown why he’s still one of the best around. After coming on as a sub in the first half, Ronaldo has bagged his 700 club career goal.
During his amazing career, Ronaldo has played for Sporting Lisbon, Man United, Real Madrid and Juventus.

One Of The Greats
Ronaldo will easily go down as one of the greatest players of all time. He’s spent his full career competing and developing alongside, Lionel Messi. Messi is known for natural ability, but Ronaldo is known for his dedication and hard work.
It’s this hard work that’s got Ronaldo 700 club goals. That amount of goals is even more remarkable when you remember that he started as a winger.
The young man Sir Alex Ferguson brought in from Sporting Lisbon was a winger with trickery, and not the out-and-out goalscorer we see now. He was also a skinny teenager, but he worked hard outside of training to get to where he is now.
Speaking after Ronaldo won a 10th Portuguese Player of the Year, Ferguson said:
“Congratulations on a great achievement and a wonderful night you’re going to have in Portugal,
“I’m really sorry I can’t be with you, but I look back and see you as a young lad at 17 years of age who came to Manchester United, how you have progressed as a human being and a fantastic sportsman.
“I want to say to you, and your mother, and all your family, and all of your kids; well done.
“So, good luck, have a great night, and well done.”
Even at the age of 37, Ronaldo doesn’t seem likely to stop scoring anytime soon.
