Chelsea and England U21 winger Noni Madueke has admitted that he studies videos of Mohamed Salah and Kylian Mbappe in an attempt to improve his strike rate in front of goal.
Noni Madueke has admitted that he studies videos of Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe in an attempt to improve his strike rate after joining Chelsea from PSV last January.
The England Under-21 international has made 15 appearances for the Blues in the Premier League since joining, but has just one goal to his name.
He was involved for the Three Lions’ Under-21 side against Serbia at the City Ground on Thursday, scoring twice and assisting once as the English ran riot with a dominant 9-1 win.
Madueke will be hoping to carry that form into Monday night’s meeting with Ukraine’s Under-21 side, as well as back to Stamford Bridge as he looks to break back into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.

After impressing against the Serbians in midweek, the 21-year-old revealed that he’s been working with the FA’s performance analyst James Ryder to improve his game in the final third.
“I look at the best. James Ryder, our analyst, clipped up Mbappe and Salah, so I watch them a lot,” he said.
“The way they always follow their pass into the box, or when a team-mate is in the box, they’re always there to anticipate.
“One thing I’ve got to add to my game is the easier goals, the one-touch goals – that’s what I’m trying to improve.
“I know I go at such a pace so sometimes I’ve got to calm down at the last moment, take a breath and then slot it away.
“I’ve just got to keep working so I can do it when I get back to Chelsea.”
