Chelsea are reportedly planning a shocking move for Bayern Munich star, Sadio Mane, after the Senegalese international has fallen out-of-favour in Germany.
The 30-year-old has had a difficult first season in the Bundesliga, suffering an injury that kept him out of the World Cup and was involved in a bust-up with his teammate, Leroy Sane.
After his performances for Liverpool, which saw him score 120 goals in 269 matches, many were expecting the star forward to fill the hole that Robert Lewandowski’s departure left.
However, things are yet to click in Germany under Thomas Tuchel, despite scoring 12 goals in 34 matches for the German champions. Mane has only started 16 times for Bayern this season, which is his lowest amount of starts in a season, so far.
This difficult start in Munich has coincided with the club’s worst run of form in recent years, as they were eliminated from the DFB Pokal and Champions League. Mane’s run-in with Leroy Sane came after their side lost the opening leg against the Cityzens.
Many Bayern players have distanced themselves from Sadio Mané following the incident with Leroy Sané.
There’s a possibility that he could be sold in the summer.💰

With rumours over the Senegal international’s future starting to circulate, many are wondering what could be next and if a Premier League return is on the cards.
According to reports, Todd Boehly is said to be extremely interested in bringing the former Liverpool star to Stamford Bridge, in hopes of turning things around at the Blues.
Chelsea are yet to win a match under the returning Frank Lampard and currently take up 11th place in the Premier League. After spending over £500m in the last two windows, the club have failed to meet expectations and will be looking to strengthen in the summer.
As Mane only signed for the Blues in 2022, his contract still runs for a few more years, making any transfer deal difficult to negotiate. However, with rumours about the club regretting their decision to sign the former Southampton player, he may be allowed to leave for a lowered price.
