After a yet another defeat, this time at the hands of Brighton, Frank Lampard has provided positive Chelsea injury news.
Lampard saw his Chelsea side fall to a 2-1 defeat at home to Brighton. The result means Lampard has lost all three games since taking over as interim manager.
Despite taking the lead through Conor Gallagher, they failed to keep the lead. Danny Welbeck equalised, before young Julio Enciso scored a screamer to win the game.

Chelsea Injury News: Will Kai Havertz Be Fit For Real Madrid
Another talking point away from the defeat was the absence of Kai Havertz in the squad. The German has been used as a striker by most managers and could be crucial for Chelsea when Real Madrid come to Stamford Bridge.
Lampard will be keen to have every option possible for the visit of the La Liga giants. This was evident from the changes he made for the Brighton game.
Havertz was sidelined by a knee injury for the visit of Brighton. Speaking about the latest Chelsea injury news after the game, Lampard said:
“He (Havertz) should be fine for Tuesday (against Real Madrid at home).”
In the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, Chelsea lacked a vocal point in the attack. They opted to play Raheem Sterling and João Félix as two forwards, but the pair struggled against the big back line of Real.
If he’s fit, Lampard may be tempted to start Havertz. The German could offer Chelsea an outlet to hold the ball up and get other players forward with him. If he’s able to do so, Chelsea might have a better chance of reaching the final four.
All eyes will be on Chelsea’s training sessions before the second leg.
