Since Todd Boehly became owner of Chelsea, it’s fair to say that he’s invested a lot of money into the club, including £360 million on signings since the start of this season.
However, with all the money spent, nothing really has gone right for the Blues so far in the 2022/23 campaign, with the club sitting in 10th in the Premier League, and knocked out of both the Carabao, and FA Cup.
Players that Boehly has signed since the summer: Wesley Fofana (80.4m), Marc Cucurella (65.3m), Raheem Sterling (56.2m), Benoît Badiashile (38m), Kalidou Koulibaly (38m), Carney Chukwuemeka (18m), Andrey Santos (12.5m), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (12m), David Datro Fofana (12m), Joao Felix (11m, loan), Gabriel Slonina (9,1m), Denis Zakaria (3m, loan)
Other Things You Could Buy With £350m+
With nothing to show for the money that Boehly has shipped into the club yet, here’s what £360m could get you:
You could buy 72 of Andrew Tate’s Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport’s, which come in at around £5m a piece. Tate had his Chiron custom made with a “copper” reddish-brown colour, and custom interior.
Another thing you could buy with £300m +, and something a bit more luxury, is the Hawaiian island of Lanai, which is worth around $300m. It includes 90,000 acres of land, a 3,200 person town and two Four Seasons resorts.
£360m could get you a 25,000-Square-Foot Mansion, THREE times. Located in Los Altos, California, this French-chateau-style property boasts five bedrooms and nine bathrooms on 11 acres.
It has fascinating features including indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a gym, ballroom, home theatre and even has its own car wash. The hillside even offers beautiful views of San Francisco Bay.
If you wanted to buy a property in Bel Air, Los Angeles, you could buy this one mega-mansion for almost £300m, with some money left over to buy a good few Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport’s.
The stunning property boasts 21 bedrooms and 49 bathrooms across 105,000 square feet, as well as a three-bedroom guest house and a seven-bedroom house for staff. Your very own nightclub would also be included in the price.
You could also buy everyone’s favourite, 108 million Freddo chocolate bars, with all the money that Chelsea have spent on players since the start of the season. With the controversial rise in price of Freddo’s, they now come in at roughly 30p a piece.
