ChatGPT Match Prediction: Brentford vs Bournemouth

The Bees welcomed Bournemouth to the capital, in a fixture that has entertained over recent years. Thomas Frank’s side were coming off a disappointing result at home to Crystal Palace, whilst the Cherries were looking to bounce back following last week’s defeat to Spurs.

The hosts got off to a flying start and were ahead within the opening 10 minutes. Cameroon international, Bryan Mbeumo, who has scored three goals in three matches, weaved his way through the Bournemouth defence and unleashed a left-footed rocket into the top corner.

Things went from bad to worse for the visitors, as Kevin Schade was tripped in the penalty area by Philip Billing and left Mbeumo with the chance to score from the spot. The winger made no mistake as he passed the ball into the bottom left corner and doubled Brentford’s lead.

Bournemouth went into the break with a huge mountain to climb and Andoni Iraola was quick to change things up, as he brought on Kieffer Moore for Dominic Solanke – in hopes of finding a goal.

However, it was Brentford who would strike first and put the game out of reach, as Mbeumo was in the right place at the right time to secure his hat-trick. Kevin Schade’s long-range strike was parried into a dangerous area and the Cameroonian reacted first to make it 3-0.

The match slowed drastically following the killer blow, however, Bournemouth found a consolation goal in the dying minutes of the match. Kieffer Moore rose highest from a corner to head the ball home, but it was too late to mount a comeback and Brentford ran out as 3-1 victors.

Result: Brentford 3-1 Bournemouth
