After a wide unanimous decision victory against Anahi Ester Sanchez in November 2019, Cameron had earned the opportunity at becoming a two-weight world champion in just her 13th fight.

Cameron fought fellow undefeated fighter Adriana dos Santos Araujo for the vacant WBC World Super-Lightweight Title in October 2020. Of course, Cameron passed that test with flying colours, winning via wide unanimous decision and becoming a two-division world champion in the process.

A fight later, Chantelle Cameron made a successful first defence of her WBC strap with a stoppage victory over Melissa Hernandez. Then came a unification bout with Mary McGee at 140-pounds. Once again, the 32-year-old proved too strong and added the IBF World Super-Lightweight Title to her name after a one sided beatdown.

Just two fights later was Cameron’s chance to become the undisputed champion. Up next was Jessica McCaskill in an undisputed bout for all five recognised world title belts in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Cameron put in a clinical performance on the night, defeating the American to become the #1 in the division.
