Carl Frampton’s Prediction For Anthony Joshua vs Jermaine Franklin Fight

In a recent interview with iD Boxing, the former two-weight world champion admitted that Joshua must go out and be a wrecking ball if he is to beat Jermaine Franklin and get back to winning ways:

“Confidence is really important in boxing, especially on the heavyweight scene. I think he [Joshua] will stop Franklin. I just hope that Derrick James has drilled it into him that he’s a wrecking machine.

“That’s what Joshua needs to get back to doing, not the fancy step backs and nice movement – he needs to go in there and be a wrecking ball.

“I think he’s been criticised a bit from the Andy Ruiz fight of being a big gun-shy, and that might be the case, but that’s all about confidence.

“Once he gets his confidence back I think that he will beat Franklin. I think he will stop Franklin and then from that point on we will se an improved AJ.”
