Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams poked fun at Marcus Rashford after the England forward ended his Old Trafford goal drought against Tottenham Hotspur.
Marcus Rashford’s Premier League Season
Off the back of a season in which the England international scored 17 Premier League goals and became Manchester United‘s talisman, plenty was expected of Marcus Rashford heading into the 2023/24 campaign.
However, from the season’s offset Rashford failed to find any consistency or form, often struggling to make a meaningful impact on games.
As a result, the Manchester-born forward has only contributed 4 goals and 3 assists in the Premier League this season, a far cry from his form of last season.
Incredibly, until his goal against Spurs last night, Rashford had failed to score at Old Trafford since May of last year.

Rashford Against Spurs
Rashford’s performance against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday evening was typical of his 2023/24 season – up and down.
Rashford started the game positively, after his direct running assisted Rasmus Hojlund for the opening goal within the first 3 minutes.
Things then got even better for the academy graduate, when Hojlund returned the favour for Rashford to put the Red Devils 2-1 up just before half-time, ending his Old Trafford goal drought.
However, following Rodrigo Bentancur’s equaliser early in the second half, Rashford struggled to make an impact, consistently losing possession and dribbling down blind alleys.
And so, with Erik ten Hag’s side searching for a winner, Rashford was hauled off in the 88th minute to be replaced by the equally out-of-sorts Antony, which a year ago, would have been inconceivable.
I have seen the comments and have to weigh in here… Marcus Rashford has no right to be telling fans/critics to “keep chatting” he has been consistently poor for the amount of money he is paid and has continued to underperformpic.twitter.com/LsUnydTvrJ

Williams On Rashford Ending His Goal Drought
One man who was happy to see Rashford ending his Old Trafford goal drought was Brandon Williams.
Williams, who is currently on loan at Ipswich Town from Manchester United, appeared to poke fun at Rashford’s lack of home goals on Instagram.
Commenting on Rashford’s Instagram post following the game, Williams said: “You remembered where the net was at OT [Old Trafford]?”
The pair played together at Manchester United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but Rashford has yet to reply to his former teammate’s sly dig.
Do you think Rashford’s goal against Spurs could ignite his season?
