Borussia Dortmund vs PSG Report: Both Sides Progress To RO16
Borussia Dortmund had already qualified for the next stage of the Champions League, whilst PSG could not afford to lose in Germany.
The match got off to a cagey start, as both sides looked to work the other out and Dortmund came close through Marco Reus in the 10th minute.
Kylian Mbappe and Randal Kolo Muani had chances of their own, but neither Frenchman could convert and the scoreline remained goalless.
The hosts took the lead moments into the second-half, as Karim Adeyemi finished off a well-worked move and took his tally for the competition up to two.
PSG were not startled by this set-back and found a leveller five minutes later, as Warren Zaire-Emery guided the ball into the bottom right corner.
Kylian Mbappe thought he had found the winner after a fine finish in the 76th minute, but a VAR review revealed the Frenchman to be offside.
Both sides huffed and puffed for the remaining 15 minutes, however neither could convert their chances and the match ended in a stalemate.
What Next For Borussia Dortmund & PSG?
Borussia Dortmund face a visit to Ausburg on Saturday, as they continue their Bundesliga campaign and PSG have an away visit to Lille.
