Former MMA fighter Ben Askren has said that Dillon Danis won the trash talk in the lead-up to his fight against Logan Paul this week.

What Did Ben Askren Say About Danis Vs. Paul?

Following Dillon Danis’ rather public smear campaign against Paul’s fiancée, in which the former MMA fighter tore into the Danish model’s dating history, Ben Askren has had his say on the matter.

Speaking to Daniel Cormier on an episode of Funky and the Champ, Askren was asked whether Danis had won the trash talk in the lead-up to the fight. Responding to the question, Askren said: “He did win the trash talk because he got inside Logan Paul’s head so bad that Logan Paul is suing him.”

Askren, who previously lost to Logan Paul’s brother, Jake Paul by first-round knockout, continued: “That’s insane. I take extra offense because I fought Logan’s brother and he tried talking about my wife, and it wasn’t a big deal! You know what because I’ve got a great wife and I love her and we have no issues.

“But if your wife has a checkered past and Dillon Danis has provided us with plenty of receipts of this, then maybe you’re a little more self-conscious of your significant other and I think that’s what we’re seeing happening.

“To the point, they’re so self-conscious about it they have to sue someone to make them be quiet because they don’t like their past deeds.”

There will be no love lost between the pair as they finally come to blows on Saturday, October 14, with the ringwalks expected to take place at 10.35 pm GBT.

The much-anticipated fight will take place alongside the co-main event, KSI vs. Tommy Fury and Danis has only added to the evening’s drama after he sent a message to Paul’s business partner, KSI, by defacing an Arsenal shirt.

The bout takes place at the AO Arena in Manchester and will stream live on DAZN and DAZN PPV in over 200 countries across the globe.
