In the last few days Manuel Neuer has publicly criticised the club he has been at for over a decade but the German side will reportedly deal with it quietly.
The Germany international recently expressed his disappointment with the sacking of long-time goalkeeper coach, Toni Tapalovic who was rumoured to be leaking information from the changing room.
Neuer had built up a friendship with his goalkeeper coach over the eleven years they worked together and the dismissal of Tapalovic really impacted the 36-year-old goalkeeper.
Neuer said: “That blow hit me extremely hard, I was told by the club officials. It came out of nowhere. For Toni too. I didn’t understand that at all. It really knocked me down.”

The two-time Champions League winner is currently out of action due to a broken leg that he suffered on a skiing trip following Germany’s poor World Cup last year. Neuer described the pain of his goalkeeper coach being sacked as similar to his current injury.
The German said: “For me, that was a blow — when I was already down on the ground. I felt like my heart was being ripped out. It was the most brutal thing I’ve experienced in my career. And I’ve experienced a lot.”
The Bundesliga champions’ owner, Herbert Hainer has publicly stated that his club will not be taking any public action against Neuer and will aim to resolve behind closed doors.
When asked about publicly punishing Neuer, Hainer said: “No, not at all. That’s why we are FC Bayern Munich. At FC Bayern Munich we will always clarify such things internally. Such things make FC Bayern strong and special.”
