- Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored game’s opening goal
- Serge Gnabry made the result a certainty late on
- Bayern Munich Champions League Odds now 7/2.
The firepower of PSG rolled into Germany looking to overturn a one goal deficit. They were without the injured Neymar, so had to cope with just Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé at the Allianz Arena this evening. However, neither player could grab the all important goal.
It was a less glamorous, but just as lethal, name that opened the scoring. Choupo-Moting scored in the second half to make PSG’s task even harder than it already was. The goal came after great Bayern pressure by the front line left Choupo-Moting with an easy goal.

Man City loanee João Cancelo burst forward late into the game and found Serge Gnabry. The former Arsenal and West Brom man slotted home to kill the game off for good. The Bayern players meant crazy on the pitch as PSG fell to yet another Champions League failure.

Who Will Win The Champions League?
The win for Bayern Munich puts them in contention for the trophy itself. Bayern Munich Champions League odds now stand at 7/2. They aren’t the favourites, but the German giants are expected to put a real challenge up for the trophy once again this season.
The favourites are Man City at 2/1. Pep Guardiola’s men have been expected to win the Champions League for some time now and many think this is their season. With goal freak Erling Haaland, Pep may have found the final piece in their Champions League puzzle.
Real Madrid and the Champions League have a special bond. No matter what their form or who they’re against, you can never say they’ve not got a chance in the competition. They’ve got a healthy 5-2 lead over Liverpool in their first leg which should see them through comfortably. At 6/1 they’re a great price.
Chelsea at 10/1 are a good outside punt for the trophy. Despite their poor league performances, the Champions League is a welcome break for them. With the talent in their squad they’ve certainly got the capabilities to go all the way.
