Barcelona are reportedly preparing a huge summer offload, as Jules Kounde becomes the latest player to be rumoured with a move away from Camp Nou.
The La Liga giants clinched the title last week with a win over Espanyol and ended a four-year wait for the championship trophy.
However, performances in Europe have put a dampener on the campaign, as Xavi’s side were eliminated from the Champions League group stage and Europa League round of 16 play off.
Success on the pitch is not the only factor that will impact Barcelona’s transfer business, as the club are still at risk of financial punishment.
Investigations were opened over payments made by Barcelona to a former vice president of the refereeing committee in Spain..
Barca allegedly paid Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira over £6 million between 2001 and 2018, with Spanish prosecutors accusing the club of receiving ‘bias’ from referees.
These allegations could have serious repercussions, with the possibility of facing a summer transfer ban increasing. However, should the club avoid a transfer ban then one player that could be on the move is France international, Jules Kounde.

The Frenchman has been utilised as a right-back during his time in Barcelona, despite catching the eye as a central defender at Sevilla.
Changing positions has reportedly ‘frustrated’ the young defender, opening up the possibility of a summer departure and the 24-year-old’s deal at Barcelona expires in 2027, meaning any deal could cost over £80m.
Arsenal were interested in the Frenchman during his time in Sevilla, but Barcelona pipped the Gunners in negotiations. However, with Mikel Arteta’s side impressing the globe this season, Kounde may be open to a move to the Premier League.
Kounde is not the only Barcelona star that is rumoured with a summer exit, as Frenkie de Jong and Raphinha are also linked with Premier League moves.
