Aston Villa are reportedly prioritising the signing of Leeds United midfielder, Tyler Adams, as the American looks set to leave Elland Road this summer.
Unai Emery turned things around at Villa Park after Steven Gerrard was sacked due to a run of poor results. The former Arsenal manager guided the club to European football for the first time in 13 years.
Competing in Europe has made summer additions a necessity and Emery’s side have already agreed their first deal of the window, as Youri Tielemans will join the club following relegation with Leicester City.
However, star player, Ollie Watkins, could leave the club this summer as the England international has attracted interest from a host of Premier League sides and the Villains are preparing for departures this summer.
Equally, the Midlands-based side are plotting moves for a variety of summer additions and are reportedly prioritising the addition of Leeds midfielder, Tyler Adams.

After an impressive spell in the MLS for New York Red Bulls, Adams earned a move to Bundesliga giants, RB Leipzig and contributed to six goals in 103 appearances.
Dominating the midfield, the 24-year-old established himself as one of the brightest prospects in Europe and became a household name in the USNMT squad.
In the summer of 2022, Adams moved to Leeds United and was tipped to achieve great things in England’s top-flight, however the campaign did not go according to plan and the Whites’ were relegated from the Premier League.
The former Leipzig midfielder has four years remaining on his current contract, meaning any deal to sign the American could cost Villa up to £40m.
