Kieran Tierney may be facing a summer exit from Arsenal as the Gunners set their sights on Real Valladolid player, Ivan Fresenda.

Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on the 18-year-old wonder-kid with the Premier League leaders looking to strengthen their side for next season. Borussia Dortmund are equally as interested in the full-back but it is believed that north London would be Fresenda’s preferred destination.

Fresenda is in his debut season in La Liga, appearing ten times in the league. Causing the full-back has drawn a lot of attention from Europe’s most elite clubs. The teenager has shown maturity at a very young age, which has been enough to entice Mikel Arteta.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Borussia Dortmund have made an initial approach where Fresenda would sign over January but would be loaned straight back to Valladolid. However, negotiations are still ongoing with the young Spaniard waiting for an offer from north London.

Since the Scottish international joined the club he has played 110 times, winning an FA Cup in the process.  Tierney has been a consistent member of the squad, however recent injuries have seen him make only 12 Premier League starts this season.

With the impact that Oleksandr Zinchenko has had on this Arsenal team, Tierney has dropped down the pecking order. The signing of Fresenda would leave the Scotsman surplus to requirements and looking for a new club over the summer window.
