Arsenal transfer rumours have been building steadily ahead of the winter window, with the latest January transfer odds suggesting a striker will be Mikel Arteta’s top priority.
The Gunners spent £53 million last winter, and a further £105 million on Declan Rice alone in the summer. But with Arsenal once again in the Premier League title race, there’s a good chance they’ll splash the cash this January.
Major names linked include the likes of Brentford striker Ivan Toney. The England international is set to complete his eight-month suspension in January and will be free to play by the end of the window.
Another striker is top of the Arsenal odds list, with Marcos Leandro favourite to join the club. Familiar names Douglas Luiz and Pedro Neto are also linked with a move to the Emirates having played in the Premier League for a number of years.

Arsenal Transfer Odds Suggest Arteta Will Prioritise A Striker
Marcos Leanardo And Ivan Toney
It’s no secret that Arsenal are in the market for a striker during next month’s window. Ivan Toney has been linked with a move to the Emirates for a long time, now, and at 3/1 it seems the bookies agree.
With 20 goals in 33 Premier League games last season, Toney was the third-highest scorer in the top flight. Reports suggest Arsenal may try a loan move at first, with the option to make the deal permanent in the summer.
A fee of around £50 million has been discussed by various sources, and may be enough for Brentford to accept.
Fabrizio Romano on Ivan Toney:
"This is a rumour I’m hearing that his preference in terms of a top club move in January or the summer would be to go to Arsenal.
From what I’m hearing Ivan Toney could be really excited by the possibility of joining Arsenal." pic.twitter.com/DO8zxigERg

Marcos Leonardo is a name less people will know. But the 20-year-old Brazilian has been ripping up trees for Santos in his home country. With 13 league goals in both of the last two seasons in the Brazilian top flight, Leonardo knows where the goal is.
At 6/4, he is currently seen as the most likely signing to walk through the door at Arsenal in January.
Sacha Boey And Santiago Giminez
French right-back Sacha Boey has been at Galatasaray since 2021. The France under-21 international is a great prospect with bags of potential, and could suit a move to the Premier League.
At 23, Boey’s best years are well ahead of him, and he could develop into a real asset under Arteta. Already a UEFA Champions League goalscorer, Boey netted against FC Copenhagen in this year’s tournament.
Mexican international Santiago Gimenez is another potential striker option for Arsenal. The Feyenoord front man already has 18 goals in 16 Eredivisie appearances this season.
Such form has certainly attracted attention across Europe, and at 7/1 he has an outside chance of heading to North London.
Douglas Luiz And Pedro Neto
Douglas Luiz has been crucial for Aston Villa’s resurgence under Unai Emery. The Brazilian is at the heart of Villa’s midfield and has provided six goals and four assists already this campaign.
There’s no doubt he would be a superb signing for Arteta, but it’s unlikely Villa would sell to a top four rival – or even title rival at this stage.
Portugal winger Pedro Neto has been linked with a move away from Wolves, with Arsenal among the possible suiters. At 8/1 it’s by no means a deal that’s highly expected to happen, but it’s certainly a possibility.
Victor Osimhen
Most pundits and publications have Victor Osimhen heading to Chelsea. The Napoli star has 105 goals and 27 assists in just 207 career matches, a phenomenal return.
As the 9/1 price suggests, it’s unlikely that the Nigerian international will be heading to the Emirates, but he would certainly add some firepower up top for Arsenal.
