Arsenal set a new Premier League record on Monday night with their 6-0 thumping over Sheffield United, with the Gunners’ scoring form showing no sign of slowing down.
Arsenal Set Sensational New Record Streak
Through their last five matches Arsenal have scored 24 goals and their latest 6-0 thrashing over Sheffield United earned the Gunners a place in the Premier League record books.

Sheffield United also set a record with their loss, as they became the first top flight side in England to ever lose three home matches in a row by five or more goals.
Goals from Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli were scored either side of a Jayden Bogle own goal to give the visitors a commanding 3-0 advantage early doors.
Kai Havertz scored his seventh Premier League goal of the season shortly after – with the German’s finish putting Arsenal four goals to the good before half an hour had even been played.

Why Arsenal’s Goal Difference Could Be Crucial
The Premier League title race is so close this season that there could be a scenario where the league is won on goal difference.
Arsenal’s hot scoring streak recently has given them an advantage that the other two in the title race don’t have, with the Gunners now six goals ahead of Liverpool and ten clear of Manchester City.
Although they are ahead in goal difference, Arsenal still trail Liverpool at the top of the Premier League by two points, with Manchester City vs Liverpool coming up this weekend.
