Arsenal extended their gap at the top of the Premier League to eight points yet again this weekend, as the Gunners eased past Leeds 4-1 at the Emirates.
With Manchester City beating Liverpool in the early kick off, all the pressure was on Arsenal coming into their game with Leeds on Saturday afternoon and Mikel Arteta’s side responded with a statement victory.

Jesus and Arsenal dominated the game in the opening half an hour and it was the 25-year-old who made the difference yet again for Mikel Arteta’s side just before the break.

Luke Ayling dived in with a reckless challenge on the striker, who went down in the box with the referee pointing straight to the spot. Jesus cooly dispatched his penalty down the middle of the goal to give Arsenal the lead going into half time.
Been White doubles the Gunners’ lead with his second goal for Arsenal just minutes after half-time, although the full-back nearly missed from a matter of yards as he smashed the ball into the roof of the net.
Arsenal’s talisman scored his second of the game just before the hour mark, as Leandro Trossard picked up yet another magnificent assist for sliding the ball in to Jesus who made no mistake from six yards out.
Leeds did grab themselves a consolation goal through Rasmus Kristensen in the dying stages of the game, but Granit Xhaka swiftly responded with his fifth Premier League goal of the season.

The win for Arsenal sends them eight points clear at the top of the league yet again and with just nine games left to play the Gunners are priced at 4/6 to lift their first league title in nearly 20 years.
