Alphonso Davies’ agent Nick Huoseh has spoken about the Bayern fullbacks future in Germany and also addressed rumours of a transfer to Real Madrid.

Davies has been plagued with injuries yet again this season, but the 22-year old is still widely regarded as one of the best fullbacks in the world.

The Canadian’s agent has spoken today on the rumours of a possible move for Davies this summer, with Real Madrid reportedly interested.

“We still have two years left with Bayern. We’re taking our time right now to see how things develop in the next few weeks/months – as we haven’t made a final decision on anything right now.

“We had very positive talks with Salihamidzic and Marco Neppe. Yes, we were almost there to sign a new contract – I woke up the next day and.. then saw the management sacked news in the media. But I was in Munich and waited, nobody reached out.”

Madrid could make a move for Davies this summer and it would be no surprise to see him move on from Germany, as the defender’s agent has already spoken to ‘multiple clubs’.

“Real Madrid is a big club. I’ve always been a big fan. Not to take anything away from Bayern, they’re a big club. But Real is a big name, big brand, with 14 Champions Leagues. When you hear the rumours about interest in a player you manage, it makes you proud.

“Nothing concrete happened, the two clubs have to communicate. Right now our focus is to get things figured out with Bayern.”

Davies’ contract with Bayern is due to expire in summer of 2025 and for now, that is where he will remain – but a Madrid offer could be just around the corner.
