The 2023 Champions League winners’ odds market was shaken up last night with the six-time European Champions Bayern Munich grabbing a 1-0 1st-leg win over PSG – a victory that saw the bookmakers slash their outright betting odds to 4/1.

Munich Into 4/1 With PSG 1st-Leg Win and Spurs Out to 25/1 After Opening Defeat to AC Milan
The opening round of last 16 Champions League matches on Tuesday night both resulted in 1-0 wins.
Bayern Munich secured a valuable away goal in their win at PSG in what was a fiery game that saw Munich’s Benjamin Pavard sent off in the closing stages. The German side got their goal thanks to former PSG player Kingsley Coman heading home in the 53rd minute.
The other match on the evening saw Tottenham travel to AC Milan as all eyes were on Spurs boss Antonio Conte returning to his homeland. However, it was AC Milan that grabbed the 1st-leg bragging rights with a 1-0 win after a 7th minute goal from Brahim Diaz.
Spurs Out To 25/1 To Win the Champions League, But Still Shorter Than AC Milan
As a result of the opening matches, Bayern were slashed into 4/1 to win the Champions League, with PSG being pushed out to 25/1 – while despite holding a 1-0 lead over Tottenham, it’s interesting that AC Milan are actually a bigger price to go all the way at 40/1 – with Spurs on offer at 25/1.
The second-leg Champions League fixtures between Bayern Munich vs PSG and Spurs vs AC Milan will be played on Wednesday 8th March 2023.
