Ivan Toney is expected to leave Brentford this summer, but Manchester United have ruled out any move for the striker having already picked up Joshua Zirkzee in the window.
Manchester United Not Interested In Ivan Toney
Although Ivan Toney is reportedly on the move this summer, Manchester United have pulled out of the race to sign Brentford’s striker before it has even started.
United ended any speculation this week, after news came from within the club that suggested the Red Devils have no interest in pursuing Toney having already secured Joshu Zirkzee this summer.
Toney is still on holiday after spending his summer at Euro 2024, so no move has been confirmed yet with the 28-year-old still playing for the Bees as the clock ticks down until the Premier League season kicks off.
"It takes a ridiculous amount of bravery to do that."

Along with United – Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham have all been linked with a move for Toney in the transfer window and we could yet get a bidding war before the season starts.
Thomas Frank has all but confirmed that Toney will leave this summer, after Brentford signed new Brazilian forward Igor Thiago with the intention to replace their star striker before the new campaign.
“Maybe we are selling a player but we are prepared for that. It’s no secret that there’s lots of rumours about Ivan. If he is leaving us – and I’d still like to keep him, he’s a top player – this time we are prepared and brought in Igor Thiago.”
Toney is reportedly worth around £60million to Brentford, so Arsenal, Tottenham and West Ham could all fight it out for the sought after transfer in the coming weeks.
The Gunners have signed just two players so far this summer in the shape of Riccardo Calafiori and David Raya – who could be reunited with his former Brentford teammate this year.
Spurs are still looking for a Harry Kane replacement, while West Ham are spending their Declan Rice transfer money and desperately need a new striker.
