With Real Madrid reportedly interested in signing Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer, we take a look at how likely a move to Spain is for the 25-year-old before next season.
Will Trent Alexander-Arnold Leave Liverpool This Summer?
Trent Alexander-Arnold has just one year remaining on his Liverpool contract and with Jurgen Klopp leaving at the end of last season, the rumours have been flying surrounding the Englishman’s future.
Real Madrid are reportedly very interested in securing the 25-year-old ahead of the new season having already acquired some huge names this summer including Kylian Mbappe.
Despite the interest from Madrid, as well as the prospect of playing with England teammate and close friend Jude Bellingham, it seems Trent may be committed to signing a new deal with the Reds.
Pictures within Anfield have been leaked during the last week, with many fans believing that Trent has agreed a new deal with his boyhood club that could be announced in the coming days.

Many supporters have speculated that the covered letters and numbers in blue could be ’66’ alongside a year. The number 66 was Trent’s first senior number as a Liverpool player and the year could potentially be the date of a new extension.
However as many wonder what could lie beneath the covers, Alexander-Arnold still remains on holiday after England’s Euros heartbreak to Spain in the final this summer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold Fuels Madrid Rumours
There have been a few cases of Trent Alexander-Arnold fuelling the transfer rumours to Real Madrid this year and with the Liverpool star spotted enjoying his time off alongside Madrid’s player of the season in Bellingham, the rumours continue to fly.

But Trent and Bellingham have held a close relationship for some time now and although the La Liga star is sure to be working on bringing his friend to Madrid, it seems that he may be committed to future in England for now.
When asked earlier this week what his favourite stadium was outside of Anfield and Wembley, Alexander-Arnold didn’t hesitate to answer “The Bernabeu”.
Until he returns from his holiday there really is no telling as to what decision Trent has made ahead of next year, but with the 2024/25 Premier League season fast approaching, all will be revealed soon.
