Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

It’s Super Saturday (July 13th) and Andrew has four recommended bets/trades at Newmarket, York and Salisbury. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

YORK 2.35

KORKER tends to be slowly away in his races but is always backable in small fields, recording form figures in single-digit line-ups of 21115221213 (5-11), with the latest placed effort at 14-1. Karl Burke’s five-year-old usually finds trouble in-running in fields of ten or more runners and did so again when tenth of 16 at the Curragh last time. He’ll be much happier in today’s nine-runner affair, has a good record on the Knavesmire and looks set to encounter the required strong gallop. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back KORKER in York 2.35

NEWMARKET 3.25

Godolphin’s ANCIENT TRUTH, unbeaten in two starts, is the obvious form horse in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket but the value could lie with the once-raced WIMBLEDON HAWKEYE. The James Owen-trained son of Kameko overcame greenness to score over this trip at Kempton on his debut in late May and the last six winners of this contest arrived here on their second career start having won on their debut. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back WIMBLEDON HAWKEYE in Newmarket 3.25

NEWMARKET 4.35

JASOUR has work to do to reverse Commonwealth Cup form with INISHERIN but he looks the value call against the jolly. Clive Cox’s son of Havana Grey landed the Group 2 July Stakes at this meeting last year on his sole previous run on the July Course and he impressed at Ascot on his comeback when coming late to deny Adaay In Devon. He often compromises his chance by racing keenly but his record in Britain reads 211913 (3-6) and the likely strong pace will help him to settle. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or back him each-way in the fixed odds market.

Recommendation: Back JASOUR in Newmarket 4.35

SALISBURY 8.20

CROESO CYMRAEG is well into the veteran stage of his career, but he can usually be relied up on to run his race on right-handed tracks, especially at this time of year. He’s won seven of his 28 starts when racing in this direction for a profit of £21.75 to a £1 level stake at SP, including form figures in June/July of 112151415 (5-8) for a profit of £30.75. The James Evans-trained ten-year-old has won this race for the past two years and there should be enough pace to allow this sometimes-keen sort to settle. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back CROESO CYMRAEG in Salisbury 8.20
