Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew heads to the Flat action at Salisbury and Thirsk for his two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, June 16th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
SALISBURY 4.00
CHELSEA EMBANKMENT won’t have many supporters in this 6f novice contest after last month’s debut effort where he finished sixth of seven at Kempton. However, he was drawn widest that day and was always playing catch-up after going out to his left on leaving the stalls. Two of his half-siblings improved significantly from their first to second starts – Breguet Man, ninth of 11 on debut, improved his RPR (Racing Post Rating) by 31 spots when a 33-1 third next time, while Nakota improved her figure by 18lb when sixth of 18 at Leopardstown. The son of Sioux Nation is nicely drawn in stall 2 of 8 and his sire’s progeny have a great record in small fields. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back CHELSEA EMBANKMENT in Salisbury 4.00
THIRSK 6.45
BARNABY’s chance is far from obvious in this 5f handicap but his draw in stall 17 could prove advantageous and, more importantly, he’s had a wind operation since beating only one home over 6f at Catterick last month. Kevin Ryan’s three-year-olds have a useful record on their first start following wind surgery, scoring with ten of the 45 qualifiers (22.2%) for a profit of £18.13 to a £1 level stake at SP. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back BARNABY in Thirsk 6.45
