Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:
Andrew made a good profit with his sell of HARDY BOY (3rd, 6-4) on Friday and has three recommended bets/trades on Saturday, May 25th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:
HAYDOCK 1.50
I was tempted to show my age by droning on about how the 5f Temple Stakes was a better spectacle when it was run at Sandown and all we had to do was back those drawn near the far rail and make a profit, but I’ll resist, and simply make in-form Charlie Fellowes’ VADREAM a bet. The six-year-old mare is a proper mudlark, whose latest 5f run on soft or heavy going saw her land the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket last spring. It’s to her credit that she only went down by a head in that same HQ contest on good ground last time and it will be surprising if she’s not involved at the business end. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back VADREAM in Haydock 1.50
HAYDOCK 3.30
Harry Eustace’s six-year-old mare DIVINE COMEDY is wonderfully consistent, recording form figures since the start of the 2022 season of 13213113133 (5-11). She’s older than your average winner of this race but is likely to be finishing to good effect and will be hard to keep out of the first three. Soft ground suits and she can be bought in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
Recommendation: Back DIVINE COMEDY in Haydock 3.30
SALISBURY 6.30
The Clive Cox-trained HARRY THREE has been off the track for 630 days but the five-year-old has a fine career strike-rate (five wins from 11 starts) and has been gelded since we last saw him, which could bring about improvement. His trainer has a 15 from 50 record in non-handicaps with runners on their first start since a gelding operation and backing them blind would have returned a profit of £68.58 to a £1 level stake at SP. His record below Group 1 level stands a 114532111 (5-9) and the early market looks to have over-reacted to the absence. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.
Recommendation: Back HARRY THREE in Salisbury 6.30
