HILLBRIDGE is another horse who caught the eye against the pace bias when making her debut at the Craven meeting, racing keenly/running green before keeping on into mid-division in a 1m fillies’ maiden. ASCOT 4.35
DOUBLE JUMP landed a Doncaster nursery on his handicap debut last September and ran as though the outing were needed when seventh of nine on his reappearance at Newmarket last month on what was also his first start since a gelding operation. Clive Cox has a good recent record with runners on their second start since gelded (15 from 62 in the past four years for a profit of £26.18 to a £1 level stake at SP) and the booking of Tom Marquand and high draw add weight to the case now up in trip for this 1m handicap.
