CLOUD SEEKER (system – Andrew Slattery, second run since gelded)
CLOUD SEEKER returned from a gelding operation with a modest third at Dundalk earlier this month – his first start since early November – and will come on for the outing. Trainer Andrew Slattery does well with his runners on their second start since gelded, scoring with seven of the 33 qualifiers since the beginning of 2019 for a profit of £28.25. He was three from seven on this angle last year (+£19.00) and Cloud Seeker is his first qualifier of 2024.

FOURONEOHFEVER (system – George Boughey, handicap debut, 1m4f+, ran over 1m1f last time out)
George Boughey does well with his handicap debutants over trips of 1m4f or further, especially with those who raced over a trip of 1m1f or shorter on their most recent outing. The five previous qualifiers produced three winners (20-1, 9-1 and 11-2) and a 5-1 runner-up (the other was unplaced at 22-1). That’s a very small sample size but it’s enough to persuade me to have an interest on FOURONEOHFEVER. The three-year-old wasn’t beaten by far when fifth of 13 in a 1m Kempton novice last time and steps up to 1m4f for his handicap debut.
