The inside rail is usually the place to be in early-season sprints (5f-6f) at Windsor and, since 2012, backing stall 1 blind in the month of April would have found 17 winners from 82 bets (20.7%) for a profit of £34.13 (expected winners = 8.79, A/E = 1.93). MCLOVEN ran a good race from the front over 6f ay Lingfield on last month’s return to action and might be able to dominate now back at 5f, his optimum trip.
KEMPTON 6.30
NOTHING TO FEAR (system – Harry Eustace, first run in all-weather handicap)
Harry Eustace has a five from 27 record with his runners having their first go in an all-weather handicap (regardless of whether they’d raced in handicap company on turf before) for a profit of £80.83 to a £1 level stake at SP. He’s three from eight at Kempton (+£75.33) and NOTHING TO FEAR finished a solid 22-1 third at Southwell in September before her modest fourth over tonight’s track and trip and could have improvement to come now handicapping for the first time.
