IMMORTAL FLAME (system – Fame And Glory, 8yo+)
Progeny of Fame And Glory tend to improve with age and we could back all of the eight, nine and ten-year-olds (the sire’s oldest crop) and made a profit. The score prior to yesterday’s racing stood at 77 winners from 603 bets (12.8%) for a profit of £78.09 to a £1 level stake at SP. Tom Lacey’s eight-year-old IMMORTAL FAME, successful at Doncaster and Ascot on his final two starts last year, looks set to go well after a 90-day break. Fellow eight-year-old NEW FOUND FAME qualifies on the same angle and could be worth a saver.

INVINCIBLE AURA (system – Marco Botti, gelded since last run)
Trainer Marco Botti has a fine recent record with runners having their first start since a gelding operation, scoring with nine of the 27 qualifiers since the beginning of 2022 for a profit of £66.75 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected winners = 3.78, A/E = 2.38). INVINCIBLE AURA is a six-race maiden but has made the frame in four of his five starts since his debut and can get off the mark.
