West Ham are looking to repeat the success of the Mohammed Kudus signing as they edge closer to completing a deal for Ghanian youngster Ibrahim Osman, according to his next club odds.

After agreeing a deal to sign Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips on loan, the Hammers have turned their attention to the FC Nordsjaelland winger.

Osman, 19, was nurtured by Ghana’s Right To Dream Academy, which has been instrumental in shaping a number of players who are excelling across Europe, including West Ham’s Kudus.

Kudus, who has been away at AFCON, has proved to be a major success at West Ham since joining from Ajax last summer. The 23-year-old has notched six goals and one assist in his first 16 Premier League appearances.

Ibrahim Osman Next Club Odds: West Ham Poised To Sign Ghanian Youngster

While both Brighton and Brentford have been linked with potential moves for Osman in the past, West Ham have now emerged as the clear frontrunners.

The East London club are actively pursuing a deal, aiming to finalise an agreement valued at approximately £15 million.

Earlier this month, David Moyes faced a pressing need for additional senior reinforcements. However, the situation improved when top-scorer Jarrod Bowen swiftly recovered from an ankle injury, making his return in the 2-2 draw against Sheffield United on Sunday.

On the other hand, Kudus and his Ghana team confirmed their unexpected exit from the AFCON group stage on Tuesday night.

The 23-year-old will have a few days off over the weekend before resuming training next Monday in preparation for the upcoming Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

Before West Ham swooped in, Arsenal were also said to be monitoring the Osman situation earlier this month, while Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach were also keen on signing the attacker.

Osman has scored six goals across all competitions for FC Nordsjaelland this season.
