See the ITV Racing Schedule for Sunday 21st January with cameras heading to two venues around the UK and Ireland with action coming from Lingfield and Thurles (Ire).
ITV Racing Schedule On Sunday 21st January: What’s On?
The third day of the ITV Racing Schedule‘s busy weekend sees Lingfield take centre stage alongside Thurles in Ireland.
With plenty of horse racing cancelled over the past few days, Sunday’s meetings should be safe with temperatures starting to rise again after a freezing cold week.
Action at Lingfield will feature heavily on ITV this Sunday with five races as the final day of the weekend’s Winter Millions meeting gets underway. The featured race on the card is the Lightning Novices’ Chase (1:15) which was meant to take place on Friday, but that card was cancelled due to frozen ground. Venetia Williams’ DJELO and the Joe Tizzard-trained JPR ONE are closely contesting market favouritism going into the race.
L’Homme Presse also makes his highly-anticipated return in the Fleur De Lys Chase at 3:00. He was last seen unseating Charlie Deutsch in the 2022 King George Chase.
You can see Andy Newton’s ITV Racing tips here, plus the key trainer stats to take into today’s Lingfield fixture.
There will also be a rare Thurles race on ITV with the Horse & Jockey Hotel Chase at 1:35 which looks to be a fascinating spectacle with Ryanair Chase hopeful Allaho the odds-on favourite.
