Arsenal vs Liverpool Preview and Prediction
The Gunners are in some of their worst form in recent years, failing to win in their last three matches and losing two consecutive matches.
Mikel Arteta’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Fulham in their most recent match, which was preceded by a 2-0 home defeat to West Ham.
This is Arsenal’s first match in the FA Cup, a competition the Gunners have won a record 14 times – most recently in 2020.
On the other hand, Liverpool have been on a terrific run of from in the Premier League, remaining unbeaten in their last 13 matches.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are coming off a 4-2 win over Newcastle and will be looking to progress in the FA Cup – a competition they have not won eight times.
These two sides have met already this season, as they drew 1-1 at Anfield. Gabriel’s early opener for Arsenal was cancelled out by Mohamed Salah’s superb strike and the points were shared.
