Infamous boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has made a bold prediction for the ‘Day Of Reckoning’ card on Saturday evening – as Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder return to the ring.
Eddie Hearn Predicts Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin
The British boxing superstar, Anthony Joshua, will return to the ring on Saturday, as he faces Swedish boxer, Otto Wallin.
After consecutive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, many ruled Joshua out of the title picture. However, after wins over Jermaine Franklin and Robert Helenius, the Brit is back on track.
His opponent has only faced defeat once, owning a superb record of 26-1, as Tyson Fury defeated the Swede in September 2019.
Since then, Wallin has picked up wins over Dominic Breazeale, Murat Gassiev and Rydell Booker – putting him in good stead for one of the biggest fights of his career.
Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua’s promoter, has made his prediction for the fight and it will come as no surprise as to who the Englishman has picked.
He said: “I’ve never been so excited for an AJ fight because I feel like he’s going to start turning the screw now. I think this is going to be a violent performance from him.”

Eddie Hearn Predicts Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker
Also on the Day Of Reckoning card is the return of Deontay Wilder, who will enter the ring for the first time since October 2022.
The American boxer will be looking for his 44th victory and a knockout would take his tally up to 43 KO’s – but his opponent will be keen on causing an upset.
Parker is a household name in the Heavyweight division, boasting an impressive record of 33-3 (23KO’s) and has won his last three fights.
Matchroom Boxing promoter, Eddie Hearn, has given his thoughts on the bout and has made a bold prediction – picking Parker to come out on top.
Hearn said: “Wilder has been out of the ring for a long time, Joseph seems to really have his head on in training camp [and] he’s coming off a decent performance.
“I don’t really rate Deontay Wilder. I know it’s a weird thing to say. I rate his power, but if you took his power away, Joseph Parker would beat him all day long. If Joseph can just use his feet, he can be a bit awkward.
“If he stands still and holds his feet, he really could be a sitting duck. If Andy Lee can get him moving and feinting, he will win rounds. If he can get five, six rounds ahead, there’s pressure on Wilder.”
