Brighton travel to the English capital to take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in the latest edition of the so-called ‘M23 Derby’ in the Premier League’s sole fixture on Thursday evening to kickstart Gameweek 18.
The hosts head into the clash in pretty dreadful form, sitting just eight points clear of the relegation zone in 15th after failing to record a victory in any of their last six matches. Last time out though, the Eagles displayed immense character as they battled back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against reigning champions Manchester City.
As for Roberto De Zerbi‘s side, they are eight points clear of their London rivals in ninth place. Despite being in strong form, the Seagulls suffered a 2-0 loss to league leaders Arsenal at the weekend in what was just their second defeat across their previous 12 matches in all competitions.
