Liverpool are set to give an array of youngsters a run out in their UEFA Europa League clash against Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium on Thursday, with defender Conor Bradley likely to feature for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The 20-year old Northern Irishman has already featured in the competition this season, playing the final eight minutes against LASK in a 4-0 win at Anfield on match day 5.

Who Is Conor Bradley?

Who is Conor Bradley? The 6ft right-back has been hotly tipped for a bright future in the game and will do his chances of succeeding no harm at all if he impresses when called upon by boss Jurgen Klopp.

Bradley has been with Liverpool since 2019 and signed his first professional deal a year later. During a loan spell at League One side Bolton Wanderers in 2022/23, he netted five goals and provided the same number of assists.

He also played the full 90 minutes as the Trotters thrashed Plymouth Argyle 4-0 in the EFL Trophy final at Wembley in April 2023.

Bradley has also represented the senior Northern Ireland squad on 13 occasions, really impressive numbers for someone who is untried and untested at a top-flight level.

If Bradley is given his chance in Belgium on Thursday, expect a mature and composed display. Having someone like Trent Alexander-Arnold train alongside you on a daily basis will only help his development.

It’s not been an easy journey for Bradley, though. He has missed the bulk of the 2023/24 Premier League season so far after suffering a stress fracture on his back, but is most certainly back to full fitness now.

If called upon against Union Saint-Gilloise, Bradley will need to be at his very best to convince Klopp to give him some extended game-time over the festive period. Ahead of the Red’s clash tonight, the best UK betting sites make Liverpool 135/67 to win.
