A host of Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on AC Milan’s teenage wonderkid Francesco Camarda, 15, who is currently too young to sign a professional contract.

Francesco Camarda became the youngest player in Serie A history on Saturday, as he came on as a substitute for Luka Jovic during Milan’s 1-0 win over Fiorentina at the San Siro.

With Stefano Pioli short of attacking options due to Olivier Giroud’s suspension and Noah Okafor’s injury, the 58-year-old turned to Milan’s youth system for reinforced depth.

He made his UEFA Youth League debut in September, scoring twice against Newcastle United. The striker is one of eight players to have made their debut in Serie A before turning 16.

Francesco Camarda Favoured To Remain With AC Milan With First Pro Deal

According to our exclusive odds, the 15-year-old is set to stay in Milan and sign his first professional deal with the Italian giants despite strong interest from England.

In 87 appearances for Milan’s youth teams, Camarda scored an incredible 483 goals – an average of 5 and a half goals per game, so there’s no uncertainty surrounding why the hype exists for this kid.

To put things into perspective, Camarda was 11 when the COVID-19 pandemic began in Italy and he celebrated his 12th birthday three days into the nationwide lockdown.

In what feels like just a flash later, he’s made his professional debut for one of the biggest clubs in the world and is poised to sign his first pro contract next March after his 16th birthday.

Despite interest from Premier League clubs such as Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal, he’s expected to enjoy the comforts of home for a while longer.
