SportsLens 1-2-3 Cheltenham Day Two ITV Racing Tips: GOOD RISK IT ALLÂ bolted up by 16 lengths on chase debut at Carlisle last time out after an 195 days off the track.
The Sam Thomas-trained seven-year-old looked to take very well to fences and sets a good standard on that performance. He also won at the November Meeting back in 2020 when succeeding in a hot bumper, so has course experience. Jockey Sam Twiston-Davies has a strong record in recent times when partnering with Thomas’ horses so connections will be expecting a big run.
Nicky Henderson’s Mister Coffey commands respect on his first run since finishing 8th in the Grand National. Meanwhile Broadway Boy was second behind Flooring Porter here last time out and can be involved.
- GOOD RISK IT ALLÂ
- MISTER COFFEY
- BROADWAY BOY
2:20 – Paddy Power Gold Cup Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap) (Gbb Race) Cl1 (4yo+) 2m4f ITV
SportsLens 1-2-3 Cheltenham Day Two ITV Racing Tips: THE REAL WHACKER has an excellent record at Cheltenham with three wins in a row here. Patrick Neville’s charge beat Gerri Colombe last time out at the festival in March and has some of the strongest form in the race.
He usually runs well fresh and has serious credentials at a track he truly loves winning at and he has every chance of defying top weight. Being three from three over fences The Real Whacker is a solid each-way bet.
Fellow Cheltenham Festival winner Stage Star is also respected and Fugitif has finished runner up in his last three runs at the course so can have a say.
- THE REAL WHACKERÂ
- STAGE STAR
- FUGITIF
2:55 – Paddy Power Games Handicap Hurdle (Gbb Race) Cl2 (4yo+) 3m ITV
SportsLens 1-2-3 Cheltenham Day Two ITV Racing Tips: JUDICIAL LAWÂ has not finished outside of the places in any of his last six races, with three wins along the way too. He was second at the Showcase Meeting the last day and won’t mind a bit of dig in the ground if conditions worsen come Saturday.
Jonjo O’Neill’s charge stayed on strongly at big odds when up in class last time out so this five-time hurdle winner has a good chance of going close back at Cheltenham.
Buddy One is a strong second choice after his comfortable win at Galway last month and Chantry House returns after almost a year off to a track he has won three times at.
- JUDICIAL LAWÂ
- BUDDY ONE
- CHANTRY HOUSE
3:30 – Paddy Power Feel Like A Favourite Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Cl3 (3yo+ 0-140) 2m5f ITV
SportsLens 1-2-3 Cheltenham Day Two ITV Racing Tips: GYENYAMEÂ was runner up to a race-fit Oscar’s Moonshine on his reappearance last month at Wincanton and if he didn’t make a slight error at the final fence that day, he could have won.
Joe Tizzard’s stable is also in top form and are operating at a respectable 22% strike rate in the last 14 days. This is an open contest and Gyenyame should be fitter this time around.
Springwell Boy is in with a shout too but may need this run on his seasonal return. Irish raider Londonofficecallin could be involved following his win at Killarney the last day.
