Grand Slam Of Darts Day 7 Preview
The first match of the night sees Josh Rock and James Wade collide for a spot in the semi-final of the 2023 Grand Slam of Darts. This is the further the Northern Irishman has ever got in a televised darts event, and he has certainly impressed of late.
On the other hand, ‘The Machine’ aims to win his first ever Grand Slam of Darts title, having come runner-up on three separate occasions. Wade seems back to somewhere near his best and has shown he is still more than capable of beating any player in the world on his day.
Next up it’s a tantalising tungsten tussle between Luke Humphries and Gary Anderson. Humphries has taken the darting world by storm these past few years, and has firmly solidified himself as one of the best players in the world. He is also the tournament favourite now with the best UK sports betting sites.
‘The Flying Scotsman’ on the other hand has enjoyed somewhat of a comeback in 2023. He dumped out three-time winner Gerwyn Price in the last-16, and will be hopeful of once again defying the UK bookies odds by prevailing as the underdog.
Whichever way these two quarter-final ties go this evening, we are in for a barnstorming night of darting action. Best of 31 legs in each of the two matches, meaning it’s a race to 16 legs. Who will come out on top tonight in Wolverhampton and cement their place in the 2023 Grand Slam of Darts semi-finals?
