MOSTAHDAF is one of the top-rated middle-distance horses in training and will head to the Breeders’ Cup Turf on Saturday as a big favourite with many. The race will be shown at 9:50pm (UK time) and with a star-studded European field, that also includes the Epsom Derby 1st and 2nd Auguste Rodin and King Of Steel, it’s a race not to be missed.
Frankie Dettori rode Mostahdaf to win the Juddemonte International Stakes at York (watch below) last time, when standing in for the suspended Jim Crowley, but his regular rider is back this Saturday as Crowley looks for win number seven on this Frankel sired horse.
Trainer John Gosden also won this race in 2018 with the classy Enable and the European horses have also won eight of the last 10. He’s currently one of the favourites with this year’s Epsom Derby winner Auguste Rodin.
Mostahdaf was also a Royal Ascot winner this season, when landing the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes in June – can he add a Breeders’ Cup success to his already impressive CV?
