Brentford value star striker Ivan Toney at £100m and have no intention of selling the player in January once he returns, despite reported interest from other London clubs.

Toney is on the radar of a number of top Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea, but the Bees are seeking to keep their frontman until at least the end of the 2023/24 season.

According to a new report from Sky Sports, it would take a monumental offer during the final two weeks of the January transfer window for the West London outfit to consider a sale.

The 27-year-old is currently out of action and serving an eight-month ban for breaching FA betting rules, which will see him return to the pitch on January 16.

The player has publicly declared his interest in playing for a top-flight giant such as Liverpool, who he supported as a boy, and Arsenal – due to their style of play under Mikel Arteta and passionate fanbase.

Last season, Toney scored 20 goals in the Premier League which was bettered by only Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.

There remains an ongoing debate over which club would provide the England international with the best fit, but it’s expected that Arsenal will emerge as the frontrunners for his signature upon his return.

The Gunners are currently juggling with the young and inexperienced Eddie Nketiah and an injury prone Gabriel Jesus up front, so Toney could provide a more stable and reliable option to lead the line.

In the summer, Brentford boss Thomas Frank said he believed Toney to be worth £100m and thinks he can take his game to a different level at a big club.

“£100m plus?… What would you pay for a striker that guarantees you 20-plus goals? And this is 20 goals for a mid-table club. What can he do in a bigger club?”
