PSG and France star Kylian Mbappe gave an interesting response when asked about a possible Real Madrid move at the Ballon d’Or event last night.
Mbappe’s Proposed Move to Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe’s flirtations with a transfer to Real Madrid have been ongoing since 2018 – and they don’t look like they are going to stop anytime soon.
However, before the start of the season, Mbappe made his clearest indication yet of his desire to leave PSG as it was announced that he would not be signing a new contract at the French superclub, but would remain in the capital for the remaining year on his contract.
As a result, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said that the club would not let the striker leave for free and issued Mbappe with an ultimatum – sign a new contract or be sold.
An eye-watering bid from Al-Hilal arrived, however, Mbappe rejected the world record offer with PSG believing that the Frenchman had already agreed to sign for Real Madrid in 2024.

How Did Mbappe Respond When Asked About Real Madrid?
While Mbappe was leaving the Ballon d’Or event at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris last night, PSG’s all-time top scorer was asked a pertinent question by an El Chiringuito journalist: “Are you coming to Real Madrid next year, Kylian?”
In response, the 24-year-old offered a cryptic smile, a nod, and a wink as he made a quick getaway. Make of that what you will.
Mbappe currently tops the list of Ligue 1 scorers this season with 10, while his team sits second in the table behind Nice.
It remains to be seen where the former Monaco man’s future lies, but with his side facing Montpellier on Friday evening, he’ll be hoping to contribute a third consecutive Ligue 1 title before he makes his decision.
