After 10 matches in the Premier League, the worst finishers of the campaign so far have been revealed and Manchester United star, Marcus Rashford, tops the list amid his poor run of form.

Worst Finishers In The Premier League (Top 5):

5. Jacob Brown (0 Goals, 1.9xG)

The Scottish international joined Luton in the summer from Stoke City and has been in around the starting eleven for the majority of the campaign.

However, the striker has failed to register his first goal in the Premier League, which has not been helped by Luton’s poor form – as the Hatters sit 18th in the table.

So far, the 25-year-old has registered an xG of 1.9 and according to SofaScore, Brown averages 1.6 shots per game – missing three big chances already.

4. Nicolas Jackson (2 Goals, 4.2xG)

Signing from Villarreal in the summer for £32m, many expected the Senegalese striker to take the Premier League by storm in Chelsea’s new-look lineup.

However, after scoring just two goals in nine league appearances, the 22-year-old has failed to stake his claim in England.

Jackson has also picked up five yellow cards and became one of the first players to be suspended due to five cautions for dissent.

Averaging 2.7 shots per game and missing seven big chances (SofaScore), the former La Liga star ranks fourth on the list as he lags behind his xG by 2.2.

3. Enzo Fernandez (0 Goals, 2.3 xG)

The Argentine midfielder signed for the Blues in a deal that, at the time, set a British transfer record at around £105m.

During his time in Stamford Bridge, the 2022 World Cup winner has established himself as one of the best players at Stamford Bridge – but his goal scoring record is far from impressive.

Fernandez averages around 2 shots per match, which is one of the highest in the league for a player in his position – but has failed to find the back of the net so far.

Out of the 27 Premier League matches Fernandez has appeared in, the Argentine has won just six matches, which included a run of seven matches without a win.

2. Neal Maupay (0 Goals, 2.5xG)

The French striker has become a bit of a household name in the Premier League, playing for Brentford, Everton and Brighton in a short amount of time – but his goal scoring record makes for interesting viewing.

Maupay’s last Premier League goal came in September 2022, as he scored the winner in Everton’s 1-0 victory over West Ham last season.

This season, the Brentford loanee has averaged two shots per match and has missed three big chances, as he struggled to find form on his return to west London.

The 27-year-old has only started twice for the Bees this season, after he signed on loan from Everton due to Ivan Toney’s ongoing suspension.

He could have ended his drought in Brentford’s most recnet fixture, however, he opted to pass instead of scoring in an empty net against Chelsea.

1. Marcus Rashford (1 Goal, 4.2xG)

Now, for the worst finisher in the Premier League (so far) – Marcus Rashford. The England international has failed to continue his electric form from last season, where he scored 30 goals in all competitions.

The Red Devils have struggled for form this season, after losing to Manchester City in humiliating fashion and they now sit 8th in the Premier League.

In the Premier League so far, the 26-year-old has averaged 3.4 shots per game and has missed three big chances – scoring just one goal which came against Arsenal.
